When you feel unwell or need to use allergy medication or other medicines on an irregular basis
An English medical certificate, including a receipt and itemized statement, costs 8,000 yen.
The mailing fee is 660 yen (to Taiwan or within Japan).
The cost of the medical certificate will be included in the receipt.
OHDr’s online consultations fall under general outpatient services provided by Japanese medical institutions.
Please fill in the patient’s information and legal name.
If the patient is a child, please enter the child’s information, not the parent’s.
Make sure the name matches the name on the uploaded identification document.
If the appointment is booked under a name such as “Mr. Lin” or “Baby,” you may not be able to receive the medication.

HOW TO USE

Step 1Sign up

Please go to “Membership Menu” and create a new account.
Step 2Make an Appointment

Please proceed to “Reservation Page” and fill in the required information. After your appointment is confirmed, you can check your appointment status from “Reservation History” on the member site.
※ Please prepare an image of your insurance card for your first visit and first visit of each month.
Step 3Install
Zoom Video Call

Please install Zoom app before the day of your consultation.

Step 4See a doctor

When it is time for your appointment, please log in to the member site and click Appointment History > “Start Video Call” button to enter Zoom.Your medical examination/consultation will begin.
Step 5Make payment

On the business day following the examination, the fee will be automatically deducted from the credit card registered at the time of membership registration.
Step 6Receive medication
Online consultations do not provide paper prescriptions. OHDr. will help arrange either pickup at a nearby pharmacy or delivery to your address, and will send the original prescription directly to the pharmacy.

Medication fees must be paid to the pharmacy, and receipts are issued by the pharmacy.

■Pickup at a Nearby Pharmacy

The cost and pickup process are the same as taking a paper prescription to a pharmacy after a regular clinic visit in Japan.

Depending on the medication and location, arrangements usually take about 1–2 hours. OHDr. will check medication availability and pickup time. If you have a preferred pharmacy, we will try to coordinate with them.
- ※Drugstores do not provide prescription medications.
- Only dispensing pharmacies that accept prescriptions can handle them.
- Dispensing pharmacies inside drugstores often have shorter business hours than the drugstore itself.
- ※Remote areas, evening consultations, special medications,or children’s medications,especially syrups,may require more time, a farther pharmacy, or next-day pickup.
■Delivery to Your Address

Standard delivery usually takes 2–3 business days.

Express delivery starts from 2,300 JPY and is available in major city areas such as Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Sapporo.

For urgent medication, pharmacy pickup is usually recommended.

Before delivery, you must receive medication guidance in Japanese from an OHDr. partner pharmacy.

OHDr. can receive the guidance on your behalf, if necessary, translate the content and send it to you in text for 495yen.
- ※ If you cannot receive the medication guidance,
- it will automatically switch to the proxy medication guidance service.
- ※ Medication and delivery receipts will be sent with the medication.
- OHDr. will pay the cost in advance and charge it together with the consultation fee.
