Q.I want to confirm my appointment.

After you book an appointment, we will send you a notification email “[OHDr.] Medical consultation / Your appointment completed / Zoom URL information”. Please confirm the date and time shown on the email.

Q.How do I change or cancel my appointment?

If you would like to change or cancel your appointment, please let us know by LINE before 6pm on the day of the appointment.

Q.Why I can’t make an appointment?

Have you cancelled without notice more than three times in the past? If so, you will be restricted by our system. Please contact us support@oh-doctor.local for more information.

Q.Can I book an appointment same day?

Yes, please book an appointment before 10am on the day. 

About Payment

Q.Can I choose a payment method other than credit card?

You can choose to pay by credit card or after-payment at a convenience store. For medical consultations, you will be asked to pay only the medical consultation fee (system usage fee) of 1,000 yen (including tax), and for medical consultations, you will be asked to pay the system usage fee of 1,000 yen (including tax) plus the consultation fee.
※You can pay for your medication and shipping costs after NP.
You can choose from “Convenience Store Payment”, “LINE Pay”, “Post Office Payment”, and “Bank Transfer” as payment methods.

Q.When do I have to make the payment?

If you are paying at a convenience store, please make the payment within the date indicated on the invoice after receiving the invoice. If you are using a credit card, please pay within 7 days after we issue the URL for payment.

Q.I don’t know how much I have to pay, where can I find out?

After your consultation, we will send you an invoice by e-mail. Please check the details from there.

Q.Is the billing amount significantly different from that of a regular clinic?

Insurance coverage is available as in a regular clinic. + system fee of 1000 yen will be charged. If you need to arrange for delivery of your medication, you will be responsible for the cost of the medication and the delivery fee.

Q.When does the medical examination fee start to be charged?

Once you have applied for a medical examination and have spoken with a doctor, the medical examination fee will be charged.

About medications and prescriptions

Q.How will I receive my medications and prescriptions?

Medication is usually delivered to your home by the OH Doctor Collaborating Pharmacy.
Along with the medication, you will receive a sticker with the prescription details for your medication booklet, a billing form for the cost of the medication and shipping fees, and a receipt.

The original prescription will be kept at the medical institution where you were examined. After your consultation, we will send you the image data by e-mail.

Q. I would like to pick up my medicine by myself at a local pharmacy instead of the OH doctor’s collaborative pharmacy, is that possible?

Yes, you can. We can do this before the medication is shipped. We will deliver your prescription to your home and you can pick up your medication in person at your local pharmacy.

Q.I forgot to pick up my medication before the prescription was due. What should I do?

Please contact our online customer service.

Q.Can I specify the delivery address for my medication?

Yes, it is possible. When you make an appointment, you will be asked to enter the delivery address of your medicine. Please enter your preferred delivery address at that time.

Q.Can I change the delivery address for my medications and prescriptions?

We are sorry, but we cannot make any changes to your order after the payment has been made, as the delivery arrangements have already been made. We will provide you with the shipping number, so please contact the shipping company directly and ask if it is possible to make changes.

Q.Is it possible to get medicine from the pharmacy of the clinic I am visiting?

We are sorry, but we cannot respond to this request.

Q.Can you reissue my prescriptions for me?

If your prescription has expired, we cannot reissue it due to insurance consultation rules. In order to reissue the prescription, you will need to visit the doctor again.

Q.Can you increase the prescription amount and the number of day?

As a rule, the amount of medication prescribed is up to 7 days. The amount of medication prescribed is subject to adjustment at the discretion of the doctor and may not be able to meet your request. There are also some medications that we cannot prescribe, such as psychotropic drugs. As you understand at the time of your appointment, we are unable to cancel your prescription after it has been issued. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Q.I want my prescriptions mailed to my house.

Yes, it is possible. Please consult with the online office before your consultation.
In this case, our partner clinic will deliver your prescription to your home and you will be able to pick up the medication yourself at your local pharmacy.

Q.I want to pick up my medication/prescription directly at the clinic.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but for patients who have undergone a medical examination, we are only able to provide drug delivery from the OH doctor’s affiliated pharmacy. In order to prevent mismanagement and problems, we do not respond to individual requests. Thank you for your understanding.

Q.I would like to have some of my medications added or changed.

We are sorry, but once the doctor has made a decision and prescribed the medication, in principle, we cannot add or change the prescription. If you really want to request additional prescriptions, please apply again.

Q.When will I receive my medicine?

It usually takes about 1-2 days to arrive. There is a possibility of delay due to the new coronavirus, so please contact the shipping company for the next day or later.

Q.Can you refer me to a PCR test that is covered by insurance?

Currently, we do not have any collaborators to whom we can refer our patients. We will do our best to provide safe and reliable medical services to our patients as soon as possible, but for now, we are unable to provide such services.

Q.Can you write a letter of introduction for the PCR test?

We can issue a letter of referral, but please note that this is not a guarantee that we will be able to accept your PCR test.
